FUNDRAISER LIST

Get a beautiful note card to give as a gift when you make a donation in someone's name to Dr. Jones' legal defense fund.

Dr. Charles Ray Jones

We are printing gift cards with the same idea the nonprofits offer during the holidays, to let a gift recipient know you have made a donation in their name.

The flower photo below, by Deaven Skye, (the copyright will NOT be on the card) will be on the cover

with this quote on the inside, top (it looks better on the card than in the box below!, no distortion on the card):

First Do No Harm

“As a physician in the practice of pediatric and adolescent medicine, I have evaluated and treated over 8,000 children with Lyme and other tick-borne diseases from every state in America, from most provinces in Canada, from countries in South America, and from every continent abroad. No other pediatrician in the world has my experience in evaluating and treating these diseases.”

“I enjoy the work that I do and I’m glad that I have the opportunity to treat the children of Lyme disease. I feel I have a deep need, a deep calling to do so and will continue to treat the children of Lyme disease as long as I physically and mentally can.”

Dr. Charles Ray Jones

A donation has been made, in your name, to the Dr. Charles Ray Jones legal defense fund.

The inside of the card is blank so you can personalize your message. Card comes with a pure white envelope.

Please consider purchasing your holiday gifts NOW and keeping the gift cards for giving later.

A donation gift is perfect for any gift giving occasion. Most of us have enough "stuff" and this is a way to give a meaningful gift.

Make a donation in the recipient's name by mail or Paypal:

Make Donations payable to "The Dr. Charles Ray Jones Legal Defense Fund."  Mail to:
C/O George Heath, III (CPA)

Note "gift" in the memo field

2) A WEBSITE FOR DR. JONES IS NOW READY TO TAKE PAYPAL CREDIT CARD CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE DEFENSE FUND.
http://www.DefendLymeDoctors.com

then contact me b10g7@verizon.net and I will send you your card with a clean envelope for giving.

Deaven Skye has donated reprinting rights and we will donate the stock, production and postage.

I think this card came out really nice. We are professional photographers and we sell note cards and enlargements retail and wholesale so these cards are professional quality. We sell these cards, with our photos, for 3.95 each retail.

Please don't forget, Dr. Jones needs the donations BEFORE September 7th! If you want to give a donation in someone's name during the holiday season please make the donation now and hold the card for the future holiday or celebration.

I keep a small box of gifts and cards for all occasions. If you do the same why not buy several gift donations now and have them ready for when you need a gift for an unexpected occasion?

If you would like to purchase an enlargement of Deaven's photo please contact me: b10g7@verizon.net Proceeds to benefit Dr. Jones' defense fund.

Message from Sandy Berenbaum, LCSW, BCD

To all,

We all need to realize that Dr. Jones' struggle is our struggle, regardless of where we live or whether we have children with Lyme.  At the last hearing, it was very clear to everyone listening to Shapiro's testimony that he has an agenda far beyond any individual doctor, and the agenda involves the complete destruction of the credibility of the ILADS guidelines, and the doctors who practice using these guidelines.  His assertion that those who have only neurological symptoms don't have Lyme, regardless of whether they have a positive blood test, his discrediting any possibility of cross-placental transmission, and on and on.

Our right to have Lyme-literate doctors is at risk here.  Our right to have guidelines that address chronic Lyme is at risk, as well.  Our right to have laboratories that will aid the diagnosis with reasonable and accurate testing is also under attack.

This past week, I was discussing these issues with family members who were visiting from South America.  Although it's several months til my birthday, they were looking for the perfect present to give me.  Discussing it with my children, they decided to give me a donation for Dr. Jones' legal defense fund, and declared that they saw this as the best present they could give.  It brought tears to my eyes, not only in gratitude for the donation, but in appreciation for the fact that these wonderful family members truly did understand what we are facing in our struggles to protect our doctors, and our rights to treatment.

Please consider asking for donations, in lieu of birthday presents, early Christmas and Chanukah presents.  It not only provides Dr. Jones with a much-needed boost to his legal defense fund, but shows your family and friends how urgent the issues are that we are all addressing in our collective endeavors.
